V6.0 STC89C52RC core development board is a universal minimum system board for 51-series single-chip microcomputers, supporting STC89C52RC and STC12C5A60S2 two mainstream SMD MCU chips. Built-in CH340 USB to serial download circuit, Type-C interface for power supply and program burning, all P0/P1/P2/P3/P4 full IO pins fully led out, equipped with reset button, power indicator, TX/RX transceiver indicator, independent crystal oscillator circuit, reserved TFT LCD screen interface and power expansion terminal. Compact size, complete peripheral circuits, matching full set of supporting materials, ideal for university electronic teaching, student DIY production and embedded development debugging.

Supports STC89C52RC traditional 51 chip and STC12C5A60S2 enhanced 51 chip; different P0 port drive modes for two versions: STC89 series needs external pull-up resistor for high-current driving, STC12 series can configure IO mode via register without extra resistor.

P0 Port IO Mode Description
STC89C52RC Version
P0 port is open-drain output; external pull-up resistor is required when driving external loads with large current; directly compatible with LCD1602 / LCD12864 screen without extra resistor.
STC12C5A60S2 Version
Adjust IO drive mode via P0M0 / P0M1 registers, 4 configurable modes:
- 00: Quasi-bidirectional traditional 51 IO mode
- 01: Push-pull strong output, max 20mA drive current
- 10: High-impedance input only
- 11: Open drain, need external pull-up resistor
Wiring & Operation Guide
- Pin Header Soldering: Solder the supplied pin headers to the board as required, convenient for external module connection.
- Power Supply: Plug Type-C cable into computer USB or 5V power adapter to supply power, power indicator lights up normally.
- Program Download: Install CH340 driver, open STC burning software, select corresponding chip model, load hex file to complete one-click download.
- Peripheral Expansion: Connect LCD screen, sensor modules to corresponding IO pins, reference supporting demo code for function development.

Important Usage Notes
- Distinguish the chip version when writing programs, the P0 port driving mode is different between STC89 and STC12 series.
- When STC89 chip P0 port drives high-power loads, must add external pull-up resistors to avoid abnormal IO output.
- Use standard Type-C 5V power supply, do not input overvoltage to prevent burning the CH340 and main control chip.
- PCB silkscreen, capacitor and pin header color may have slight batch differences, which will not affect core functions.
