Product Overview
HC-08 is a dual master-slave integrated BLE Bluetooth serial transparent transmission module, equipped with built-in PCB antenna, supporting 2.4GHz frequency band and up to 80-meter open-space communication distance. It adopts standard 3.3V TTL UART interface, compatible with 3.2~6V wide voltage power supply, works directly with 5V microcontrollers without level conversion. It supports master-slave mutual pairing, realizes full-duplex wireless serial data transmission, widely used in Arduino embedded development, smart devices, wireless data collection and electronic DIY projects.

Pin Definition & Wiring Guide
Baseboard 6 Pin Definition
- VCC: Power supply pin, 3.2~6V input
- GND: Common ground of module and MCU
- TXD: Module serial output (connect to MCU RXD)
- RXD: Module serial input (connect to MCU TXD, cross wiring required)
- STATE: Connection status pin, low level = unpaired, high level = connected
- EN (KEY): Clear pairing memory pin, short to GND to erase paired device info
Wiring Tip
Cross connect TX/RX between module and microcontroller: Module TXD ↔ MCU RXD; Module RXD ↔ MCU TXD, otherwise data cannot be transmitted normally.
Working Status LED Description
- Unpaired (no device recorded): LED flashes once per second (100ms bright, 900ms off)
- Unpaired (slave address stored): LED flashes once per second (900ms bright, 100ms off)
- Slave module waiting for pairing: LED lights 1s every 2s
- Successfully paired & connected: LED keeps steady on
