📌 Product Overview

✅ MAX7219 is an integrated serial input/output common‑cathode display driver chip. This module integrates MAX7219 chip and 8×8 common‑cathode dot‑matrix LED screen. It can be directly connected to microcontrollers such as Arduino, STM32, 51‑MCU. Equipped with 4‑wire serial interface, only 3 IO ports are required to drive the dot‑matrix screen. Built‑in 8×8 static RAM for data storage, supports independent address update for each dot without refreshing the whole screen. ✅ It features brightness adjustable, flicker‑free display, low‑power shutdown mode, and supports multi‑module cascading. The left side is input port, the right side is output port, users can connect multiple dot‑matrix modules in series to realize larger‑size combined display effect. Comes with mounting holes for easy installation and fixing.

🔌 Wiring Instructions

1. Left side of module is input port, right side is output port.
2. Single module usage: connect input port to microcontroller IO pins.
3. Multi‑modules cascading: Input of first module connects to MCU; output of first module connects to input of second module, and connect sequentially.

👉 Reference wiring for 51 MCU:

• VCC → 5V
• GND → GND
• DIN → P22
• CS → P21
• CLK → P20
