📌 Product Overview

The GY‑521 module is built with MPU‑6050 chip, which is a classic integrated 6‑axis motion processing component. It integrates a 3‑axis gyroscope and a 3‑axis accelerometer, effectively solves the axis misalignment problem when using separate gyroscope and accelerometer components, and greatly saves PCB installation space. This module comes with built‑in Digital Motion Processor (DMP) hardware acceleration engine. Via secondary I2C bus, it can connect external magnetometer or other sensors to realize 9‑axis data fusion, output complete fusion data through main I2C interface. It supports InvenSense motion processing library, which greatly reduces host MCU computing pressure and provides convenient API for secondary development.
