Serial SHT series temperature & humidity sensor module carries Swiss Sensirion SHT30 / SHT31 / SHT40 industrial-grade sensing chip, with onboard serial conversion circuit, directly output TTL UART ASCII data without complex I2C programming. Default auto-report temperature and humidity data every 1 second, supports auto mode & manual read mode switch via serial commands. Wide operating voltage 3.3V~5V, ultra-small 11×17mm PCB, 2.54mm pitch 4PIN bent pin header, compatible with all mainstream 3.3V/5V microcontrollers such as Arduino, STM32, 51 MCU, widely used in environmental monitoring, agricultural planting, smart home, industrial control.

Serial Command Communication Protocol

All commands end with \r\n, module feedback OK\r\n after receiving valid commands:

Auto mode: Send Auto\r\n → Restore automatic 1s data upload
Manual mode: Send Hand\r\n → Stop automatic upload, switch to manual reading
Manual single read: Send Read\r\n → Return data format R:XX.XRH XX.XC
Example: R:070.0RH 032.4C = Humidity 70.0%RH, Temperature 32.4℃

Important Usage Notes

Distinguish chip version before purchase, SHT30 humidity cannot measure below 10%RH, select SHT31/SHT40 for full-range humidity detection.
SHT40 module only supports 3.3V power supply, cannot connect 5V power to avoid burning the chip.
Keep the sensor chip away from water vapor, corrosive gas for long-term stable measurement; SHT31 built-in heater can eliminate condensation.
Do not short-circuit power pins, reverse power connection will damage the module sensing chip.
Batch PCB silkscreen, capacitor color may have slight differences, which do not affect measurement performance.
