XH‑W1401 is a microcomputer digital temperature control switch with triple digital tube display. It can automatically realize heating or cooling function without manually switching mode. Users set start temperature and stop temperature separately, the board will judge heating or cooling logic according to the two temperature values. Equipped with NTC waterproof temperature probe, relay output, it is widely used for incubator, aquarium, greenhouse, DIY temperature control projects.

💡 Panel Function Description

• Start Indicator Light: The START (red) light turns on, indicating the relay is closed and the equipment starts working.
• Stop Indicator Light: The STP (green) light turns on, indicating the relay is open and the equipment stops working.
• Digital Display: Middle red screen shows real‑time detected temperature; left green screen displays set start temperature; right green screen displays set stop temperature.
• Buttons:

  • STOP ▲ ▼: Adjust stop trigger temperature

🔧 Working Principle

The W1401 does not require manual heating/cooling mode selection. The controller automatically judges working mode by comparing start temperature and stop temperature value.

1. High Temperature Start‑Cooling Mode When set start temperature > stop temperature: Relay closes and cooling device runs when measured temperature ≥ start temperature; relay cuts off and cooling equipment stops when measured temperature ≤ stop temperature.

Example: Start=30℃, Stop=25℃. When temperature ≥30℃ red indicator lights on, cooling works; when ≤25℃ green indicator lights on, cooling stops.

2. Low Temperature Start‑Heating Mode When set start temperature < stop temperature: Relay closes and heating device runs when measured temperature ≤ start temperature; relay cuts off and heating equipment stops when measured temperature ≥ stop temperature.

Example: Start=25℃, Stop=30℃. When temperature ≤25℃ red indicator lights on, heating works; when ≥30℃ green indicator lights on, heating stops.
